Research Analyst

Overview: Billing Research Analyst position available with a well-established corporate real estate consulting firm. Position involves obtaining and scrutinizing utility bills to identify savings opportunities for current and prospective clients.

You’ll work with our Director who will be coordinating your audit assignments and workflow. There’s also potential to work with our experienced staff of accountants, attorneys, engineers, real estate and finance professionals as they perform nationwide lease audit and consulting engagements for our high profile corporate real estate clients.

Responsibilities/Objectives:

Utility bill analyses
-
Researching utility-related ordinances
-
Qualifying leads for analysis
-
Requesting bills from utility providers
-
Managing correspondence with utility, state, and municipal reps
-
Researching target industries, markets, and clients
-
Updating Salesforce CRM with analysis conclusions
-
Coordinating analysis results with sales efforts

Requirements:

Part-time and full-time candidates will be considered

Analysis experience

Independently drive multiple research and analysis projects

Effectively communicate with team members and municipal representatives

Proficient with Excel

Experience using Salesforce CRM is a plus

Highly proficient with computers, internet, and Microsoft Office Suite

Self-starter and self-management

Excellent organization and communication skills

Detail oriented

An ideal candidate will have experience with data analytics, a background in research, and is someone who enjoys using Excel.

This is an hourly position. Please provide your present compensation expectations and desired weekly work hours. Compensation is commensurate with experience. For full-time candidates, benefits include ten days off per year, and you can purchase health, vision and dental insurance in the group plan as a pre-tax payroll deduction. There is a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) also available as a pre-tax payroll deduction for qualified out of pocket health and childcare expenses.
