About
Janet joined Chelepis in 1997 as a Senior Auditor and is an account manager of three long-term clients. She manages client relationships, reviews lease language, plans and executes lease audits of offices, warehouses and manufacturing facilities throughout the United States and Canada. Before joining Chelepis, Janet worked as a financial analyst for a real estate appraisal firm and learned the industry serving as a commercial property management and real estate development and construction accountant. She worked on projects including the appeal of real estate tax assessments; designing bank loan workout programs; cost/benefit analyses of outsourcing building services (janitorial, landscaping, security and trash removal); rent projections based on retail sales; recordkeeping for Resolution Trust Corporation contracts; and pricing of residential subdivision lots. She wrote articles analyzing the regional residential trends for an annual brochure distributed by her employer.
