Dave analyzes and quantifies the cost of operating building HVAC and utility systems including chilled water systems, co-gen systems, and UPS systems.  He also inspects and verifies metering and sub-metering schemes and evaluates building automation systems.

 

Prior to Chelepis, Dave was the Vice President/Partner of a Regional Construction Company where he oversaw the operations of a $75 Million annual General Contracting firm. His projects included Bartle Hall Convention Center, American Royal Arena, and Kansas City Chiefs indoor training facility all in Kansas City, MO. In addition, he worked on multi-story office buildings, manufacturing and warehouse facilities, US Post Offices, and government office facilities. Dave also has project management experience for a major pre-engineered building manufacturer. His overall project responsibility included design development, owner/contractor negotiations, contractor/subcontractor negotiations, estimating, accounting and field operations for single projects and multi-site building programs for national retailers, manufacturers and distributors. Dave has also managed the quality control and management of field crews for construction of two 370’ high concrete natural draft cooling towers at Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant as a Field Project Engineer for a major water-cooling tower manufacturer.
