A Fortune 100 client leased space in a downtown office building and was being billed monthly for chilled water usage.  The chilled water charges exceeded $5 per square foot of leased space in several months of the year.  Chelepis toured the leased premises and examined the tenant’s equipment as well as interviewed the building engineer. The resulting report led to a settlement with the landlord and a discontinuation of the billing practice.  Charges were refunded to the tenant, outstanding invoices were retracted, and the discontinuation of the billing practice saved tens of thousands of dollars per month for the client.
